• ALT Blood Test: The ALT blood test is essentially the same as the SGPT test. They measure the same enzyme in your blood and serve the same purpose: to evaluate your liver’s condition.
• SGPT Blood Test: Also known as an SGPT ALT test, this blood test measures alanine aminotransferase levels. When conducting this test, doctors will draw a small amount of blood from your arm and send it to the lab for analysis.
